War Toy Ad

Another major challenge for e-commerce is to deal with different cultures and rules from different countries.  Ads for war toys like these are banned in Greece, but not in the U.S.  If this ad was shown on a website hosted by the U.S. and a citizen from Greece happened to find it, that citizen could file a court order to have the company in the U.S. take the image down.  The question is, does the company in the U.S. have to comply with Greek rules?

World Risk Index 2011

Submitted by Chris on Fri, 08/10/2012 - 14:47

The actual risk for a country to suffer in a long term from a natural disaster depends on the actual exposure but also on the vulnerability of a society (how can they cope and adapt to the event). Central America as well as big parts of Africa and Asia are at high risk to suffer for a long term from natural disasters.
