This spreadsheet was developed and revised by the SDRSP Metrics Task Force over a two year period ending in 2009. The intent was to review many other community sustainability metrics, and come up with a generic list of metrics that appeared important to measure (in a developed country). The MTF had to follow a fine line between what we thought was important to be measured and what could actually be followed and reported on to the community. We settled on a much smaller list of measures than what we wanted to include, due to several disparate reasons. The task force reviewed similar lists of community metrics from over a dozen sources. Please find attached the super-list of metrics considered for the process, of which only 80 made it to the final list. The task force was disbanded and not reformed upon completion of this (final) report/spreadsheet.
