Digital Design Showdown 

 

Digital Design Showdown (DDS) is a fast paced design competition where participants battle each other for design supremacy. Designers gets 20 minutes to create a piece of art work around a theme or image. 3 Round competition. 

 

San Diego has a great technology community with some amazingly talented artists. These designers use their skills and creativity to brand our products, give life to our websites, and convey our values.  

 

This evening is meant to be an opportunity for them to be in the spotlight. To get a chance to have fun doing what they love in front of a crowd! Join us Friday September 20, 2013 to see who has what it takes to win the showdown...

Competitor Information:

 

Logistics:  

  • All competitors must bring their own equipment.   
  • All types of hardware/software are acceptable  
  • Connection to 15 pin VGA is required to link to our display. 
  • WiFi Connection will be provided. 

Competition Details:  

  • Competitors will be broken into groups.  
  • 3 Round Competition - Each round will have a different theme. 
  • Winners will be judged on creativity, quality, style, and theme.  
  • Limited number of competitors per category.
  • Pre-Event meeting required

Additional Details:

  • Beer and Wine for 21+
  • Snacks will be provided.   
  • Best parking is at street meters, green and yellow curbs are free after 6 pm
  • If possible we suggest you use the Trolley. Civic Center stop is right outside our door!
