EVENT DESCRIPTION:
A picture is worth a thousand words - especially in the news world. We use GIS mapping to better understand spatial geography. Data visualization is another tool that helps us to literally "see" complex issues in space and time. Newspapers regularly feature infographics to tell a story and the San Diego Union Tribune has been leader locally. This month we are thrilled to have the SDUT Graphics team join us to share their work, explain the process, how they get their data and the impact to the reader.
