Smart Growth. That is the name of the game. From whole system to small spaces.

Event Summary:

We develop long range visions for our region to know where we are going. We zone and code our land to protect sensitive ecosystems, improve economic generation, speed transit, and foster community. We keep commercial uses together and segment mixed use for retail and housing.

Our region is growing and it is undeniable that we must explore new ways of assessing urban planning. How will we redesign our cities to work for all its citizens? Where will we invest our limited resources? How will this improve our lives?

Join us as we welcome new

City Planning Director Bill Fulton and renown Architect Teddy Cruz.

Mr. Fulton brings a track record of sustainability and smart planning to the table. Mr. Cruz is a new voice in the architectural community who has a visionary plan to integrate San Diego and Tijuana. You don't want to miss this unique opportunity to interact with San Diego community leaders.

We will listen to presentations from both speakers and engage in a facilitated conversation that is optimized by the SimCenter global classroom.

How do we plan and build a more sustainable and resilient San Diego region?

Join the conversation at the World Resources SimCenter!
