The Open City Project will create and support public opportunities to design, produce and remix small-scale community interventions. Products may include hardware, software, objects and experiences.For the National Day of Civic Hacking, the Open City Project will launch a month-long series of events that will culminate in a public celebration featuring the prototypes.
This kick-off event will include:
- talks by local innovators from community , business, planning and government sectors
- an open forum
- unconference sessions to share ideas, meet potential partners and form teams for the rest of the month’s prototyping activity
- an intro to participating in the Open City Project and a review of the resources available
