Resilient Cities: Geography and Demographics:  Where are our Risks?

- June 26:

"Urban growth is expanding at an unprecedented rate, with over 50% of the world’s population now living in cities.  As policy makers, engineers, scientists, planners, and even the general populace begin to tackle the challenges associated with urbanization, they must consider methods for designing our cities in ways that are resilient to current and future changes.  However, each region comes with its own specific challenges as a result of its varied geography, climate, and demographics.  This week at the Global Classroom, we will be highlighting the Geography & Demographics of the San Diego region with the hope of understanding the components necessary for a sustainable, yet resilient future.

We invite you to bring your expertise and add your content during the Q & A . . . We learn better, together.
