San Diego has endured a roller-coaster economy like most of the nation for the past few years. Large swings in real estate values, the stock market and job growth has left many of us feeling queasy. Fortunately our diversification has been a strength to pull us forward in three key sectors: military, tourism and the innovation sectors of IT, biotech and cleantech.

Join us for a night of short videos and expert commentary on the main issues that affect San Diego.

Hear from expert economists on how the larger regional economy will affect you.

Learn where we stand compared to other cities in the United States?

With a roaring stock market and a what appears to be a recovering real estate market are we seeing signs of a true recovery? Do the concerns of sequestration, a sensitive global market, and high unemployment remain a factor in our region? What is the best direction for city government in these unsure times? How sustainable is our economic recovery?

Come be a part of the discussion  as we have two outstanding economists to share their insights into where we've been and where we may be going for our region's future economic growth.
