This training will discuss the why and how of NVDA. Non-violent direct action (NVDA) is a tool that oppressed people have used to build their power throughout history. When communities don’t have billions of dollars to spend, they leverage risk. They put their bodies, freedom, and safety on the line. We've seen the recent success of this tactic at Standing Rock, and it was also used to fight the Keystone Pipeline.

An outline for the training and other details are coming soon. If you RSVP we'll keep you updated. The training is free, but if you can donate towards materials and lunch that would be appreciated. Space is limited.
