The Climate Justice Group of the First Unitarian Universalist Church is hosting a presentation and discussion about the link between climate and diet. Come hear from “Planet-Based Diet” team members from SanDiego350.org. explain the connection. This meeting is open to the public. There’s plenty of room in BARD HALL for one and all.  Please join us and bring your friends.

The climate diet connection and some personal food choices that reduce greenhouse gas emissions significantly will be explained. For example, a four-person family skipping steak once a week for a year is like taking their car off the road for nearly three months. Global resource depletion and food waste resulting from animal agriculture will also be discussed.

Parking: A volunteer from the UU will hand out free codes at the parking lot entrance.

Meeting attendees need to get the parking code at the UU parking entrance gate, and then park in the UCSD Medical Center Parking Garage.  They will get free parking when they enter the church parking code into the parking kiosk machine.

RSVP: Please rsvp to James Long at 619-436-9435.
