We had 48 people show up at Google Fiber with three weeks notice for a full day event.  Attendees included City and County leaders and staff, community leaders, developers, UT experts and interested citizens. What a terrific indication of the desire to create economic and environmental sustainability in East Austin.  Attached a doc created by the Mobility team, one of the six topic areas.  Two key takeaways from the data shown:

- Our best transportation solutions by 2040 still project congestion to get significantly worse.

- People who move further out for affordable housing have an increase in transportation costs (to $13,000 per year!) which means they can’t afford to travel to work. In other words, they can’t afford to work!
