Come join us at MJM Ranch for Coastal Cleanup Day on Septemer 16th! We will be cleaning up trash around one of the properties managed by The Escondido Creek Conservancy. Bring sunscreen, hats, and reusable water bottles. The closest address is 3233 Kaywood Drive, Escondido, CA 92026 but keep following until you reach the dead end. Join Elfin Forest Recreational Reserve docent, writer and artist, Donna Walker, for a free interpretive nature walk. Enhance your appreciation of this watershed community of native plants and wildlife. Learn about the history and culture of the indigenous people who lived in this area during prehistoric times. A native San Diegan, Donna studied history and art at Palomar College, in San Marcos, CA where she earned her degree and a certificate in American Indian Studies. Donna also has a certificate in Conservation, Forestry, and Wildlife.
