Global Energy Network Institute (GENI)
GENI's mission is to conduct research and to educate world leaders and the public about the critical viability of the interconnection of electric power networks between nations and continents, with an emphasis on tapping abundant renewable energy resources, what we call 'the GENI Initiative.' Our research shows that linking renewables between all nations will mollify conflicts, grow economies and increase the quality of life and health for all. This is a strategy rooted in the highest priority of the World Game simulation developed by Dr. Buckminster Fuller three decades ago.
Sustainable Surplus Exchange
A nonprofit organization that is created to serve our community through a sustainable practice of reuse and repurposing. The organization's mission is to engage the community in environmental and economic sustainability by preventing needless waste from entering the landfills through repurposing still useful items for reuse.
Save Mission Trails
Save Mission Trails is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt Non-Profit Mutual Benefit Corporation. Their mission is to inspire the preservation and conservation of Mission Trails Regional Park and adjoining East Elliott Community Open Space. They are campaigning to protect the park and communities and preserve the quality of life.
San Diego Farm Bureau
The San Diego County Farm Bureau is a non-profit organization supported solely by more than 2,000 dues-paying members. The mission of the San Diego County Farm Bureau is to foster San Diego agriculture through education, public relations, and public policy advocacy in order to promote the economic viability, sustainability, and community building of agriculture.
San Diego County Air Pollution Control District
The San Diego County Air Pollution Control District strives to protect the public from the harmful effects of air pollution, achieve and maintain air quality standards, foster community involvement and develop and implement cost-effective programs meeting state and federal mandates, considering environmental and economic impacts.
Cuyamaca Rancho State Park Interpretive Association
Cuyamaca Rancho State Park Interpretive Association's mission is to support Cuyamaca Rancho and Palomar Mountain State Parks. As an IRS registered 501(c)3 charitable organization, CRSPIA uses your tax-deductible donations to provide these parks with interpretive and educational materials, building improvements and trails to enhance the experience of the visitors that normal funding channels may not be able to supply.
Reuse and Repair Network
To promote reuse and repair as an adjunct to recycling, and as an alternative to landfilling throughout the San Diego region. We work to support reuse- and repair-related industries and help create an infrastructure by:
1) sharing information and best practices
2) facilitating a network for business and non-profit collaborations
3) educating and engaging our members and the general public in ways to utilize and advocate reuse and repair
