Climate Change & Fossil Fuels
Four panelists, including SD350’s Masada Disenhouse, talk about the push toward a clean economy. Their efforts include implementing local legislation, pushing CalPERS to divest from fossil fuels, challenging corporate boards of oil companies, and investing private capital into renewable energy.
This promises to be a dynamic conversation, drilling down to the key barriers and leaving us with some tangible action steps to take part in the solution.

Climate Action Plan Rally & Scoping Meeting
The City of San Diego is holding a scoping meeting on Monday, March 2 beginning 5 pm. We’ll meet earlier (at 4:15) to rally with allies for a strong climate action plan, and then speak at the scoping meeting. The goal of the scoping meeting is to receive input on the range of areas the City should analyze for potential environmental impacts under CEQA (the California Environmental Quality Act).

March for Real Climate Leadership
Join SanDiego350 members and Californians from across the state as we gather in Oakland — Governor Brown’s hometown — to say that we need real climate leadership in the face of the drought.
Across the state wells are drying up, more than a dozen cities are in real danger of running out of water, and there’s no question it’s being made worse by climate change.

We’ll be meeting in the Rose Room, which is located behind the stage. We will enter from the outside of the bldg. off our garden, parking will be in the Norther side of the parking lot.
