Come join us as we raise awareness of sea level rise and coastal flooding in Mission Beach.  We will be drawing a chalk line along Mission Blvd showing the High Tide Flood Line projected for the year 2050.  A great opportunity for outreach and public education, using art as our entry point!  We’ll be gathering signatures in support of a strong climate action plan.

With the court cases over and Congress pushing to fast track the KXL, it’s time for President Obama to stand tall, fulfill his promises to act on climate change, and reject the Keystone Pipeline once and for all.

We’re hoping that this is the final sprint in a years-long battle we and our allies have been fighting.

We are going to take part in a nation-wide action across this Tuesday night, January 13 that will hopefully take place in all 50 states. Please come to make your voice heard!

Join SanDiego350 for a screening and facilitated discussion of this eye-opening movie that explores the connections between animal agriculture and deforestation, water consumption and pollution, and global warming.

At this first stop on the tour, join SanDiego350 and local and state-wide allies in a panel discussion to learn about the fracking – climate connection, what’s happening in California, and what we can do to stop harmful “extreme extraction” of fossil fuels in our State.
